It’s very easy to catch the ‘River Cat’ ferry from where we are staying, into the city (and no need to contend with heavy traffic or park the car).  If we take the express ferry, with only a few stopping points along the way, we are in the city in 35 minutes.  It’s a scenic trip along the Parramatta River, firstly past all the mangroves and later into the wider part of Sydney Harbour, passing under the Harbour Bridge and gently sliding by the Opera House before docking at Circular Quay.

Whenever we are in Sydney,  we always try to visit the Fish Market at Pyrmont ….not only for the freshly-caught fish, but also to enjoy a delicious lunch of seafood.  We were not disappointed!  We also luxuriated over some deliciously scrummy yoghurt with fresh passionfruit!  Mmmmmm …don’t you just want some?

There are loads of tables outside to eat your meal and, as you can see from the photos, they were pretty packed.
